A Groodle is a cross between Golden Retriever and Poodle only. 

We are currently asking breeders to provide us with DNA and Hip and Elbow results for both parents of current and upcoming litters. 

Once they provide this to us, we will add them to a page on this site called 'breeders'. You can also complete the 'Find a Breeder' form on this site. Once you let us know what you are after, we can let you know of any updates to our recommended breeder list. 

Please note the following

• We are only recommending litters from health tested parents. 
• We are not recommending flat coat ( unfurnished ) litters
• We will not intentionally recommend double doodles or other crosses breeds
• We can only recommend breeders who have reached out to us or responded
• We recommend breeders share copies of all relevant health testing with families
• We have not assessed the breeding environments of the recommended breeders
• Each breeder should also be registered and comply with a Breeding Association
• We are not liable for any breeders listed on this page. You are advised to complete your own research prior to choosing your preferred breeder

As a developing association, we are working towards improved health testing in Australia in line with the Goldendoodle Associat of North America (GANA)

For now, we have identified DNA and Hip and Elbow Scoring as the minimum required health testing for Groodles of all sizes in Australia. 

We still have a long way to go. 

Furnishings are the key features that define the Groodle. This includes the distinct facial hair that gives the Groodle it's much loved teddy bear look. Furnishings include;

• Moustache 
• Beard
• Eyebrows 
• Feathered tail, feet and legs

As the National Groodle Association has now launched breeder memberships. 

The NGA Recommended Litter List is now only available to NGA Members. Breeders can now advertise their current and planned litters as long as both parent dogs health reports are within our new breed and health standards. 

Each breeder listing their litter must have 

1. DNA testing of both parents
2. Hip and Elbow Scoring of both parents regardless of sizing
